Get answers to common questions about Bonding (Full Head).
Bonded extensions generally remain secure for 6–10 weeks depending on hair growth, styling and care. You’ll need a salon appointment to reposition or refresh bonds; proper home care helps keep them comfortable and looking seamless until your maintenance visit.
When installed by a trained stylist with correct bonding technique and appropriate weight distribution, risk is minimal. Incorrect application or heavy installs can cause stress; we assess hair health and recommend safe options during consultation.
Wait 48 hours before washing after installation, then use sulfate-free shampoo and a soft-bristle brush. Gently cleanse and dry fully, avoid oils at the bonds, and use low heat styling to protect bonds and natural hair.
If extensions are 100% human hair, coloring and heat styling are possible but should be done cautiously by a professional. Avoid applying color at the bond area and use heat protectants; always perform a strand test first.
Pricing varies based on hair type, amount, color matching and installation time. We provide a personalized quote during consultation. Expect additional costs for premium hair, color services and regular maintenance appointments.
Use gentle, sulfate-free products, avoid oils near bonds, brush carefully, sleep on a silk pillow or with a wrap, limit high heat, and book maintenance every 6–10 weeks to protect both extensions and natural hair.
