Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Back Facial.

Most clients experience mild pressure rather than sharp pain. Our technicians use gentle techniques, numbing balms if needed, and customize treatment for sensitive skin. Expect temporary redness that subsides within hours to a day; communicate discomfort so we can adjust pressure.

Appointments typically last 50 to 70 minutes, depending on congestion and extractions required. We allow time for consultation, deep cleansing, exfoliation, extractions as needed, and a customized mask with a relaxing finish to ensure thorough, effective results.

For acne-prone or congested backs, schedule treatments every four to six weeks until cleared. Maintenance sessions every six to twelve weeks help prevent recurrence. Your therapist will recommend frequency based on your skin type, severity, and progress during follow-up consultations.

Active cystic acne requires careful assessment. We may postpone or modify treatment to avoid aggravating inflamed lesions, recommend medical referrals, or perform a gentler approach. A consultation ensures a safe plan combining in-salon care and dermatologist guidance when necessary.

Avoid heavy sun exposure, tanning, and harsh self-tanners for at least one week. Skip exfoliating products or strong retinoids 48–72 hours prior. Wear loose clothing to the appointment and inform us of medications or allergies for a safe, effective treatment.

Common temporary effects include redness, mild swelling, and sensitivity where extractions occurred. These usually resolve within 24–72 hours. Avoid sun exposure, hot showers, and heavy workouts for 24–48 hours. Follow post-care instructions to minimize irritation and support healing.
